Amazing fundraising by local company TCi (GB) Ltd

Fundraising target smashed!

What a privilege it has been to be TCi (GB) Ltd’s charity of the year in 2023.

For this amazing company, corporate social responsibility is part of their DNA, not a tick box exercise. They smashed their fundraising target for Family Compass carrying out an incredibly varied series of activities which included the whole team.

Chairman Adrian Sealey and managing director Alex Perkis conquered the heights of Kilimanjaro, while project directors Callum Bowden and Chris Pyne faced a demanding 15km Tough Mudder. Other feats included a skydive by financial director Alex Slee and a 36km swim-run endurance challenge around the North Devon coastline by construction director Jim Capron.

The team smashed their original target of £10,000 to reach an incredible £12,498.95

Have a look at their fundraising journey in more detail here.

As well as raising funds to enable us to provide life-changing support to children experiencing challenges with their mental health, TCi has further supported us by providing IT and office equipment, furniture donations and assistance with the refurbishment of our current headquarters at Barnstaple Old Town Station. The staff also enjoyed collecting 70 Easter eggs and 80 Christmas chocolate selection boxes for distribution to children using our services.

Family Compass CEO and co-founder, Keda Johnstone said;

“We have been completely overwhelmed by TCi’s support, with the funds raised enabling us to provide life-changing support to children experiencing challenges with their mental health.

More children than ever before are struggling, but thanks to incredible organisations like TCi we are able to be there for children when they need us, having a positive impact on their lives. Last year we were able to support nearly a hundred local families through our Inhale/Exhale community project, with the funds raised by TCi contributing hugely to this.”

       “Thank you Team TCi, you’re amazing!”
