Family Compass offers a fully supervised contact service for siblings in local authority care.
Sessions are planned to include stimulating and creative activities inside or outdoors. We aim for a relaxed environment which encourages siblings to enjoy their time safely together, with a focus on supporting their emotional wellbeing.
Examples of activities include:
- Geocaching
- Art and craft activities
- Surfing
- Exploring the local area – Rosemoor, Arlington and Wistlandpound
- Beachcombing
- Football in the park
- Popcorn and a movie
- Creative activities themed for special events- birthdays, Christmas etc
We pride ourselves on our excellent communication with foster carers and social workers. We offer a feedback report for social workers following every session, provide full risk assessments and follow safeguarding procedures at all times.
Transport for children can be provided.
