I have been working with children, young people and families for over 20 years. I gained my Master’s Degree in Dramatherapy in 2007 and have been working as a Dramatherapist in Devon for 10 years.
I have experience in a range of settings including CAMHS, Learning Disability, Education, Adult Mental Health and Community Arts. I worked alongside the team of dedicated staff at Social Enterprise South West Family Support from the beginning of the service in March 2011, working therapeutically with individuals and groups, along with a focus on supporting adoptive families and children in foster care.
I am a qualified clinical supervisor and accept external clinical supervisees.
Prior to this I lived and worked in London where I worked with vulnerable children and families experiencing difficult and challenging life experiences in education, care and play settings.
Working creatively using the Arts to gain insight into experience and promote mental health and wellbeing is at the heart of my work.
